KM Level 1

This entry level class is designed for all new Krav Maga students. The goal of the class is to teach the basics of self defense and fighting. Students will learn Krav Maga's fighting stance and movement, various strikes from standing position as well as from on the ground and basic self-defense techniques. The average training time for this level (assuming at least two training sessions per week) is four months however, at Krav Maga Utah we run our classes on a 6 month rotation to help in training and preparing for your test.  Here's a sample of what is taught in this class:
  • Stances
  • Punches
  • Groin kicks
  • Elbows
  • Choke defense
  • Ground defense & movement
