The Kettle Bell was originally developed in Russia as a form of strength training for athletes and military. It is a dynamic tool that moves and rotates within the hand. The kettle bell’s offset center of gravity demands constant control and concentration from the student and is a highly effective tool from developing strength and power.

KB Bag and KB Rounds combine strength training exercises with the Kettle Bell and bag work, focus mitt, and/or Thai pad training. These classes are designed to increase student’s strength, power, and performance in Krav Maga, fighting, or any other athletic skill.

Heavy bags for a heavy sweat

Heavy bags, Medicine balls, Kettle bells and jump ropes are just a few of the tools used in this class.  Our KM Bag classes have been shown to burn as much as 800 calories per hour!

This class features a combination of strength training, dynamic flexibility, and heavy bag work. The focus of this class is to emphasize muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Students will learn correct body alignment to maximize efficiency, while refining Krav Maga technique through repetition, drills, and punch kick combinations on the bag. Boxing gloves or bag gloves are required.
